2. What data we process

We process only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form on this site, together with technical data generated by your browsing.

Contact form data

  • Name
  • Company
  • Email address
  • Description of your project or enquiry
  • Estimated timeline
  • Estimated budget
  • How you heard about us, if you choose to tell us

Technical data

  • IP address and connection data logged automatically by our hosting provider's web server, for security and service maintenance purposes.
  • A cryptographic hash of your IP address together with submission timestamps, only when you use the contact form. This serves solely to limit submissions per hour and prevent abuse of the form. It is deleted automatically after one hour.

We do not obtain data from third parties or public sources. We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.

3. Purpose

  • To respond to your enquiry and maintain the communication needed to assess a possible collaboration.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the contact form.
  • To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We do not use your data to send you marketing. We have no mailing list or newsletter, and we will not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Legal basis

  • Consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) for processing contact form data, given when you tick the corresponding box before submitting.
  • Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR) for logging technical connection data for site security.
  • Compliance with legal obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR) where applicable.

Providing the data marked as required is necessary for us to respond to your enquiry. Without it, we cannot reply.

5. Retention

We keep contact form data for one year from the last contact, unless you request deletion sooner.

If your enquiry leads to a contractual relationship, data will be kept for the duration of that relationship and subsequently for the periods required by tax and commercial law.

Server logs are kept for the hosting provider's standard log rotation period. Contact form rate-limiting data is deleted automatically after one hour.

6. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties, except where legally required.

We use the following providers, acting as data processors, with whom we hold the agreements required by article 28 GDPR:

  • Web hosting: Hosterion SRL (hosterion.ro), Romania.
  • Email service: Hosterion SRL. Outgoing mail is sent from the same server that hosts the site, so no additional email provider is involved.

7. International transfers

Our providers deliver their service from the European Union. Romania is an EU member state, so no international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area takes place.

Should any provider process data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses, in accordance with chapter V GDPR.

8. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access to your personal data.
  • Rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure where the data is no longer necessary.
  • Restriction of processing in the cases provided by law.
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Portability of the data you have provided.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise them, write to ioo@softioo.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you believe your data is not being processed in accordance with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.

We would appreciate it if you first wrote to ioo@softioo.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

10. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including encryption of communications via HTTPS and restricted access to the data we receive.

11. Minors

This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. It is not intended for children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Cookies and local storage

This site uses no cookies

None. Not our own, not third-party. We use no analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling.

We also load no resources from external servers: no fonts, no scripts, no maps, no embedded content. Everything on this site is served from our own domain, which means no third party can store anything on your device or record your visit.

We store nothing in your browser either

This site stores no data whatsoever on your device. No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no other form of persistence.

Your language is decided by the address you visit: / is Spanish and /en/ is English. There is nothing to remember, because the URL already says it.

You can check: open your browser's developer tools and look at this site's storage. It is empty.

Why there is no consent banner

Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 requires consent to store information on a user's device. Since we store none, there is nothing to consent to.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to how the site works. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
